DESCRIPTION: TRABAY is a strategic joint venture between Taraba and Bayelsa States, creating a seamless rice production and supply corridor. Rice is cultivated across the rich floodplains of Mayo Kam, Rivers Donga, Taraba, and the Benue basins, processed at mega rice mills in Kunini (Lau – Rice Town), and paddy stored at Project Stores at Ibi. The project utilizes the inland freshwater port at Ibi for efficient supply to the TRABAY rice project mega mills in Bonny, Bayelsa State, for Coastal and Southern markets.

Is Taraba safe for travel and partnership? ▼
Taraba is generally peaceful, with a stable government and growing partner confidence. Like any region, some areas require caution. We provide security briefings and escorted logistics for partners and tourists. The Mambilla Plateau and Jalingo are considered safe for visitors.
What visas are needed to visit or partner? ▼
Most international visitors need a Nigerian visa. We can provide invitation letters for partner visas, business visas, and tourist visas. ECOWAS citizens enjoy visa-free access. Contact us for assistance.
How do I get to Mambilla Plateau? ▼
Fly into Kasimbila Airport (Jalingo), then drive or take a helicopter to Mambilla. The Mambilla Helipad provides direct executive access. Road access is available but seasonal; we recommend air travel during peak rains.
What is the minimum partnership? ▼
Our Seed Partner tier starts at ₦7,500,000. Diaspora bonds start at ₦150,000. For infrastructure-tier partnerships (₦750M+), we arrange bespoke terms. All partnerships require KYC/AML compliance.
What is MOBI-E+? ▼
MOBI-E+ (Integrated Mobility & Energy Solutions) is our unified pillar covering EV, CNG, LPG & LNG projects. It is fully integrated into the Master Plan — not a separate project — powering sustainable mobility and industrial growth across Taraba.
How many management committees are there? ▼
We have streamlined governance into three comprehensive management packages: (1) Governance & Compliance, (2) Partnership & Finance, and (3) Operations & Delivery. This replaces the previous multi-committee structure for greater efficiency.

Yes. Our processing facilities pursue NAFDAC, SON, and international certifications (organic, fair-trade, halal) as applicable. Specific certifications are listed on each product page at buytaraba.com.
What currency is used, and are there capital controls? ▼
The Naira (NGN) is the local currency and all partnership tiers are quoted in NGN. Nigeria has foreign exchange regulations; we work with CBN-licensed banks and provide guidance on repatriation of profits and dividends. USD and other hard currencies are accepted for partnership on request.
